The 8-kilometre stretch of coastline surrounding Arild, from Röda Hallar in the north to Nabben in the south, offers a variety of wonderful swimming spots, especially for those who enjoy swimming from the rocks.

No planning or organisation is needed – just choose a spot, take a refreshing dip, and enjoy the sea whenever the mood strikes.

Arild Tennis Club

Located in the Ekbacken area at the entrance to Arild, the Arild Tennis Club is at its busiest during the summer season, when it hosts activities including a popular tennis school and the annual Arild Open tournament.

The club’s two well-maintained clay courts provide excellent playing conditions, ensuring an enjoyable experience for players of all levels.

The Arild Swimming Pool

Klötet

Built in 1963–64 by the historic Monday Club (Måndagsklubben), the Arild Swimming Pool is beautifully situated at Klötet, right by the sea.

For generations, it has been the place where local children have learned to swim. Today, it remains an inexhaustible source of enjoyment for visitors of all ages, offering a unique setting for swimming with spectacular coastal views.

The Catholic Chapel

The Catholic Chapel in Arild was built in the early 1920s at the initiative of Gisela Trapp, an artist, philanthropist, and devoted Catholic. The chapel is home to remarkable examples of her paintings and exquisite embroidered works, making it both a place of worship and an artistic treasure.

Nimis

Nimis is an extraordinary work of art created by Lars Vilks, built largely from driftwood on a rocky beach just north of Arild.

This fascinating masterpiece has a long and controversial history dating back to around 1980. Over the years, it has survived demolition orders, arson attacks, and fierce autumn storms, yet it continues to attract visitors from around the world.

From Arild, you can reach Nimis on foot, by bicycle, or by car. From Himmelstorpsgården you will follow the trail and turn towards the sea where trees are marked with the letter ”N”, guiding you to Nimis.

Kullabergs Islandshästar

Located at Himmelstorpsvägen 48-7, 263 77 Mölle, Kullabergs Islandshästar offers unforgettable horseback riding experiences in the beautiful countryside surrounding the Kullaberg Nature Reserve.

Guided rides take you through forests, open countryside, and scenic landscapes, allowing you to experience the natural beauty of the Kullaberg peninsula from horseback. In addition to trail rides, the centre offers riding lessons, training, and tailor-made events for companies and groups.

Golf has been played here since 1945, and the course reached its present layout in 1969. Set amid the breathtaking scenery of the Kullaberg Peninsula, the club offers one of Sweden’s most picturesque golfing experiences.

The course has earned widespread acclaim both in Sweden and abroad. The Dutch magazine Golfers Magazine once described it as ”Paradise in Southern Sweden”, while the greens have been praised by Svensk Golf as among the finest in Sweden. Kullaleden Trail

The Kullaleden Trail, inaugurated in 2013, is part of the Skåneleden SL5 trail. It starts in the medieval heart of Helsingborg and continues around the Kullaberg Peninsula, passing through Höganäs, Kullaberg, and Arild before reaching Utvälinge.

The trail is certified to international standards as a Leading Quality Trail, stretches for 70 kilometres, and offers a rich variety of landscapes, nature experiences, and cultural highlights along the way.
